About

The Artist

My life has been full of outdoor adventures from growing up in a sled dog racing family (a kennel of 45 dogs was there before I was born), to competing in the sled dog sprint world championships in Fairbanks, Alaska, to partnering with my mother for 40 years of Craft Shows and making 150-200 fresh balsam wreaths each November/December (all by hand, no machines). My love of making things, the Adirondack Mountains, the outdoors and simply being at the kitchen table with my carving tools — it never fades. I continue to explore ideas and things that make me happy and I enjoy sharing it with those that feel the same.
